Let's go to cross country!!
On the 9 of June the senior syndicate went to mr dransfield farm. But there was a problem all the buses were gone and we were stranded. But we had and idea were gonna hitchhike. But just when we got a thumb out a bus arrived.
When we arrived at the farm there was a dog to greet us. He was real old so he was struggling to walk. At the farm there was a gate leading to the course.
1 hour later
Its our turn finally. Matty took as for a warm up. When we got back down to the starting line mr bell was waiting for us with a cap gun. He said when the bang goes that's when you start. Take your marks get set BANG. Off we go Costa takes the lead with Baxter not far behind him. As we start to run down the first hill where the little bridge is. Mr R is waiting for us at the first mud puddle with a klacker.
We start to run up the massive windy hill. As we start to run up to the hay bales. And leap. I leap over the hay bale.
Mrs Casey is there to cheer us on the last downhill. Come on dig it in I thought. As I come down the last straight I felt proud of myself. And I was exhausted. In the end I came 16 out of 40 kids.
